| Established by Ted and Darek Sygidus in 2000 to cater for the emerging growth in commercial developments in Melbourne’s outer-West, SGA Engineering has built an enviable business that now includes design, fabrication and construction departments using cutting-edge technologies that caters to both Government and private developers. The Melton-based operation has now grown to employ more than 45 local trades people, apprentices, design and administration staff, producing over 10,000 tonnes of structural steel each year, and today, they are recognised as an industry leader in the structural steel and construction industry. As a family operation they value their staff, with many of their team having been with the company for more than a decade, General Manager Ben Wooding involved with the Sygidus family for more than 20 years. SGA Engineering (Australia) Pty Ltd has been a member of Master Builders Victoria (MBAV) since 2003, and are now classified a Gold Class Member (member# 56394). Darek Sygidus has held a Commercial Builders Licence Limited Low-rise (under 12m high) construction with the Building Practitioner Board since 2003, now called VBA. (member# CBL-20319). |
